Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Fundraiser

In early September I was contacted by Jane Powell who was organising a charity fundraiser on behalf of Breast Cancer Awareness & the village hall fund. It would be a ladies only evening with entertainment throughout the night including Psychic readings, she asked would I attend and offer my services of 5 min readings for £7.50 of which 15% would go to charity …. Of course I agreed.

On Friday 21st November at 7.30pm I arrived at West Tanfield Memorial Hall in Ripon North Yorkshire, the place was buzzing as everybody was having fun I sat just in the doorway to the right so as the ladies were entering they could see me, throughout the evening I had literally a constant queue of ladies all excited to have their cards read! by 10pm I had read for over 20 ladies making a grand total of £160.00 of which £35 was given to the respective charities.

All in all the evening was an absolute success raising £1.300 in total, everybody was so warm and welcoming and for an incredibly good cause.

I hope I’m invited to the next fundraiser!
